the great quest...

 

My first project for the website is a mighty quest to find the best burger in Los Angeles. I know what you may think; that this is a barbeque site and I should be searching for the best rib joint or smokehouse. I agree and I will get to those soon. But for the time being, it is the perfect burger that I seek. A burger so delicious that I will forgive my native city of it's sins...well, not all of them.

L.A. does many things wrong. The Hills, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, our Mayor, our Governor, crime, clean air, natural disasters, Lindsey Lohan…[ED: did I use that one already?]...just to name a few. But one thing that this city does right is burgers. Some of the largest fast food chains were started in or near LA, including McDonald’s, Carl's Jr [ED: whoops, there's that damn Hilton chick again] and In’N’Out Burger. And their legacy has given this city a reputation for producing some great burgers.

I’m setting out on an epic journey to find the best burger in town. I will go to hole in the walls, chic Beverly Hills eateries, as well as the popular burger joints to find what is truly the best burger in town.
